Traveling with a little one is not easy, here is what I keep in my bag readily accessible as we travel via airplane. (Fitz is 13 months as of writing this post!)

  1. Books

We are currently loving musical books. I know you might be thinking... on an airplane? but the airplane is really loud and on the book's quiet setting, it doesn't seem to bother anyone

  2. Nursing Cover

I take a muslin cloth and tie it in a knot so I can slip it over my head, but keep things cool. It can get really hot underneath for both me and Fitz

  3. Snacks, in this snack bag

My favorite assortment of bags make packing snacks easy. I usually bring snacks that we both like because what is worse than a hungry baby? a hangry mom.

  4. Bag of toys

These monogrammed bags are my catch all for all things Fitz. This one in particular is where our toys go

  5. Teething toys

While I usually just grab whatever I see before leaving the house, here is a list of our favorites

  6. Teething Oil

I try not to leave the house without a bottle! This holistic tincture is a lifesaver for our teething boy, relieves pain almost instantly and all natural

  7. Spinner toys

Stick these on the airplane window and thank me later!

  8. Brumate

This water cup is the BEST for travel because it completely locks and is leak proof. I just throw this in my bag, and don't give it a second thought. It's also easy for Fitz and I to share since he knows how to sip out of a straw.

  9. Coterie Diaper & Wipes

Have you noticed how much we love these?! The leak protection and absorbency make these my must have travel product. I normally change Fitz right when we get to the airport, and don't have to change him again until we get off of our second plane! (You can use code "MADS" for 20% off your first order of $40+)

Couldn't forget to mention the bag itself, this workhorse has been my diaper bag/purse since Fitz was born. I love the matching pouch that it comes with & keep diapers and wipes there even when we aren't traveling.
